How do you get Christians out of their pews?
We got rid of them...(the pews that is...)
We are truly a church without walls. The Bible describes the Church as a body of believers who follow Jesus Christ, not a building made of brick and mortar. We as the church need to get out of the mindset that we can only worship in the sanctuary. We preach Christ to the lost and the forgotten. Where are those lost and forgotten? Are they busting down the doors of the Baptist church in your town? Are they pushing you out of your form fitted pew? Are they begging to learn more about the Savior who loved them so much that He died on the cross? The lost are asleep, at home, or at Wal-mart while the majority of American Christians are in a pew. What a great mission field! Please do not think that we as The Cavalry are saying that there is not a need for the brick and mortar building that a body of believers meet in. I was saved in one those buildings. What we are saying is that there is a need to reach those who might not ever enter the doors of that building.
